Bruin Buddies are 4th and 5th Graders who wish to make a difference in the lives of those who have a disability and to promote awareness of different disabilities. We will meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month beginning in September.
*Meet twice monthly to research and decide a disability awareness to promote monthly school-wide.
*Participate and promote school-wide area community disability events such as Mid-South Down Syndrome “Step-up to Down Syndrome Walk” and “Autism Awareness Walk”
*Become special friends with Priddy’s Pandas.
*Read to students in younger grades who may have a disability or need an extra reading friend.
*Participate in group educational activities in Priddy Pandas and act as leaders and mentors.
*Club members will get great hands-on experience and gain a better understanding of challenges some students may face.
