When: Tuesday, August 2, 2016 8:00am-3:00pm

Where: Your child’s assigned school for the 2016-17 school year
Will you Be Ready?

Bartlett City Schools is excited to announce our Be Ready Day! On this day families will have the opportunity to:

Meet their child’s teacher

Pick up class schedules

Join the PTA

Drop off School Supplies

Tour the building

Pick up bus information

Add money to lunch accounts, etc.



FAQs

What do I need to do to be a part of this day? All parents or legal guardians must complete the on-line registration link that was sent out to all families May 13, 2016. (If you have a Gmail account please check your spam folders if you did not receive the email). In order for students to have a class assignment/schedule ready the student must be fully registered on or before July 22, 2016. All registration should be completed using Info Snap, the on-line registration system.



What if I did not receive an email/snapcode link to complete the registration?

Contact Student Services at 901-202-0855 ext. 238 for assistance.



Can I pick up my child’s schedule or receive a teacher assignment prior to August 2?

No, schedules and assignments will not be available until August 2, 2016. School personnel must have time to process all registered students.



What if I cannot attend the BE Ready day on August 2, 2016?

Families are encouraged to attend. If you cannot make it, please contact your child’s school for additional information.



What if I am new to the district?

All new students should contact Student Services to complete the registration process. Please visit the website for additional information regarding registration.

BARTLETT HISTORY COMES ALIVE

Students – see how people lived in Bartlett 150 years ago.

In honor of Bartlett’s 150th anniversary, the Bartlett Historical Society presents History Weekend “Bartlett Memories” on Saturday, April 16 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, April 17 from 2-5 p.m. Visitors can see Bartlett history come alive by meeting people from the past. Beginning at the Bartlett Museum, 2969 Court St. there will be Walking Tour of Historic Homes, a Walking Tour of Historic Churches, a Vintage Car Display, the Bartlett Stagecoach on display and carriage rides.

At Bartlett High School, 5688 Woodlawn, there will be history displays of organizations in Bartlett and people portraying historical figures. In the Auditorium on Saturday will be high school jazz bands. On Sunday at 2 p.m. an original play “Happy Birthday Bartlett” by Altruria second grade classes written by teacher Ashley Spriggs – an awesome performance you won’t want to miss!
