    Welcome to Mrs. Mefford's fifth grade class!!  I am looking forward to a wonderful year.  I am honored to have your child this year!  I am married and have one daughter, Brooke, who is a sophomore in college. I have taught 5th grade for about 10 years in Texas and in Tennessee.  I love to read and play the piano.  

    I know this is an unusual year!  Virtual Learning is new to all of us, but we will persevere!
