Kyle Kiihnl Memorial Foundation

Next week we will be participating in a fun learning activity by partnering with the Kyle Kiihnl Memorial Foundation. The Kyle Kiihnl Memorial Foundation works to educate us on the dangers of driving sleep impaired as well as the need for 8-10 hours of uninterrupted sleep.
Of course our children aren’t driving yet, but it makes sense that the earlier we teach them about our need for sleep and the amazing things that happen when we sleep, the better prepared they will be to be safe and alert drivers in the future.
Each day this week, we will have a short lesson on sleep:
• Why we sleep
• What good things happen while we sleep, and
• How to fall asleep, if you are having trouble doing so.
On Friday, we are asking the children to participate in our PJ Days by wearing their pajamas to school and making a $2 (cash) donation to the Foundation.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Foundation’s education director, Kathi Wright, at kwright.kwkfoundation@gmail.com.
