American Education Week
American Education Week—November 16-20, 2015—presents all Americans with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate public education and honor individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education. This year’s theme is "Great Public Schools: A Basic Right and Our Responsibility," and will be reflected in special observances each day of the weeklong celebration. Here is how Bon Lin Elementary is showing our special observances this week.
Monday the 16th-GCA/Mr. Carver/Mr. Sherman-K/First Grade
Tuesday the 17th-Bus Drivers-ALL BUS RIDERS to make a card for their amazing bus driver thanking them for taking them to and from school safely.
Wednesday the 18th-Office-2nd graders
Thursday the 19th-Board Members-3rd graders
Friday the 20th-Assistants -4th grade SPED-5th grade(This includes preschool as well).
We have had some very special people visit our building! Mayor McDonald, our very own Superintendent David Stephens of Bartlett City Schools, and Memphis S.W.A.T.! Thank you for taking time to read to our students in Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade.
