Congrats to our Lady Bruins!!!

These ladies pulled off a victory last night earning the City of Bartlett Tournament Champions title!!! Congrats to all these ladies and their coach, Holly Hair.

PTA Meeting

Please join us for our next PTA meeting on Monday February 25th at 6:00pm! This is a VERY IMPORTANT meeting for our school and organization moving forward! Please make plans to attend and hear about the future! Meeting will not last more than 1 hour! This is a GREAT time for our Bon Lin Bruin Family!

Dr. Seuss Week!!!

Join in our Dr. Seuss fun! If you have a Dr. Seuss book at home, bring it in to share with your class on the day it is honored.

BLE is also collecting new and gently used books to be used as prizes for our reading challenges. There will be a box outside the library door labeled book drive.

2nd Annual Bruin 5K

Join us on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 9:00 am for the second annual Run with the Bruins! This family-friendly 5k will raise needed funds for technology at Bon Lin Elementary School. Our goal is to surpass 500 runners this year! Following the race, stay for the 7th annual school carnival. It runs from until 1 pm and will include booths from local vendors/businesses, carnival games, entertainment, a silent auction, and concessions.

Registration will be May 1-22 on Tuesday and Thursday only. All new students must begin the enrollment process at their zoned or approved school. Please see the registration time for each school below. Summer registration hours will be listed soon.

Your snapcode will be e-mailed by May 7. If you cannot find the e-mail, please check your junk or spam folder first. You may contact the attendance clerk at the school if you need more assistance. Registration for returning students should be completed by May 31, 2018.
On-line registration
Before you proceed with the on-line registration process, you must have all your documentation scanned and ready to upload (i.e. two current proofs of residency, shared residency affidavit, parenting plan). Please carefully check all spelling, capitalization, and punctuation as it is entered. All required fields (noted with a red asterisk) must be completed before the form may be submitted. If you experience any difficulty, please contact the enrolling school's attendance clerk.
Shared Residency
Any new shared residency must schedule an appointment with Student Services before completing the on-line registration. Appointments may be scheduled beginning May 29 by contacting Student Services at 202-0855 (Ext. 2238).

Acceptable Proofs of Residency

• Most recent MLG&W bill (no cut-off notices or Bartlett water bills)
• Current mortgage statement or deed of the homeowner
• Lease of the lessee of the home
• Rental agreement of the renter of the home
• Current real-estate tax receipt of the homeowner
• Current public assistance/government benefits check, card, or papers

Updated Tennessee immunization records for new students and 7th graders must be submitted to the school before the student attends school on August 13. If you already have an updated record, you may scan and upload that form when you complete the on-line registration. Please contact Geniese Bolden if you have questions (202-0855 Ext. 290).
Be Ready Day will be on August 7. All families are encouraged to attend this day. Families may join the PTA/PTO, drop off school supplies, get transportation information, tour the building, meet with the nurse, etc. Only families who have completed the on-line registration by July 1, 2018, will be able to meet their classroom teacher and/or pick up their classroom schedule.
