American Education Week Nov. 14th-18th

What is American Education Week?

American Education Week—November 14-18, 2016—will present all Americans with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate public education and honor individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education.

2016's theme, "Great Public Schools: A Basic Right and Our Responsibility," was reflected in special observances each day of the 2016 weeklong celebration.

Mayor McDonald of Bartlett and the Bartlett School Board Members were given a BLE rock for our American Education Week.

We also had several guest readers: Mayor McDonald, Shirley Jackson, and Superintendent David Stephens took the time to come read to several classes. Students were so thrilled to have them visit and read.

Superintendent David Stephens even attended our very own SAC meeting and was able to hear students' feedback of our school!
